After spending two decades on Bay Street at a major wealth management firm, I decided to focus on doing what I love: providing guidance to clients on a transparent, advice-only basis.
Clients seek me out when they want to understand where their financial uncertainties lie, and how to better plan for their road ahead. I would like to work with clients who would like to actively participate in their financial lives, both in decision making and actionable strategies. Financial planning is a two-way street; it takes effort and engagement from both the planner and the client working together to achieve the most optimal end results.
I have had direct, ongoing experience helping Canadians who have US ties, citizenship or who have worked in the US understand the complications that exist with their cross-border wealth picture. As well, I have worked with many Canadian families who have various levels of complexity navigate distinct stages of their lives, from home purchases to divorces, from job changes to retirement, and through health challenges and sudden losses.
